This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. The question here is to calculate how much work I have done in a real instance today. So I climbed a flight of stairs that were 2.0 meters high. So the work done is my mass times gravitational field strength times the change in height. So that's 105 kilograms times 9.8 newtons per kilogram times 2.0 meters which is 2.1 kilojoules.
