This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. The insulation meter which has an area of 100 square centimeters which we convert into square meters by multiplying by 1 meter for every 100 centimeters twice registers a power of 6.50 watts and the question is what is the intensity of the sunlight that's hitting it? So the intensity is the power divided by area so that's 6.50 watts distributed over the area of the device of 0.0100 square meters and that would be 650 watts per square meter.
